General Manufacturing

What manufacturing services does YD Rapid provide?

YD Rapid offers CNC machining, 5-axis machining, vacuum casting, 3D printing, rapid prototyping, and low-volume manufacturing services for customers worldwide.

Yes. Our engineering team reviews every project and provides Design for Manufacturability (DFM) recommendations to improve quality, reduce costs, and optimize production efficiency.

We machine a wide range of metals and plastics, including aluminum, stainless steel, steel, brass, copper, titanium, ABS, POM, Nylon, PC, PMMA, PEEK, and more.

Available finishes include anodizing, powder coating, painting, polishing, sandblasting, bead blasting, black oxide, nickel plating, silk screening, and laser engraving.

Standard CNC machining tolerances are ±0.05 mm. For high-precision projects, tolerances as tight as ±0.005 mm can be achieved depending on geometry and material.

Yes. Our 5-axis CNC machining capability allows us to manufacture complex geometries, reduce setups, and improve dimensional accuracy.

Part size depends on the manufacturing process and material. Contact our engineering team with your drawings for a project-specific evaluation.

We offer a variety of polyurethane resins that simulate ABS, PP, PC, rubber-like materials, and transparent plastics.

We support customers in:

  • Medical Devices
  • Robotics & Automation
  • Consumer Electronics
  • Automotive
  • Industrial Equipment
  • Aerospace

Quality Assurance

Do you have quality certifications?

Yes. YD Rapid operates under an ISO 9001-certified quality management system to ensure consistent manufacturing quality, process control, and customer satisfaction.

Quality control is integrated throughout the manufacturing process, including material verification, in-process inspections, final dimensional inspection, and shipment verification. Our team follows documented inspection procedures to ensure every part meets specifications.

Yes. Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) inspection reports can be provided upon request for projects with critical dimensions and tight tolerance requirements.

Yes. Material certificates, First Article Inspection (FAI) reports, dimensional inspection reports, and other quality documentation can be supplied based on project requirements.

Our inspection process includes:

  • Incoming material inspection
  • In-process quality checks
  • Final dimensional inspection
  • Surface finish verification
  • Packaging and shipment inspection

Additional inspections can be arranged for critical projects.

Standard CNC machining tolerances are ±0.05 mm. For precision applications, tolerances as tight as ±0.005 mm can be achieved depending on material, geometry, and manufacturing requirements.
