Brass CNC Machining FAQs

What brass grades do you machine?

We commonly machine C260, C360, C385, C464, C272, and C230 brass. Other grades can also be sourced based on your drawings and application requirements.

C360 is the most widely used grade for CNC machining because it cuts cleanly, produces short chips, and provides a good surface finish. Other grades may be more suitable when corrosion resistance, strength, or formability is more important.

Standard tolerances follow ISO 2768 unless otherwise specified. Critical dimensions can typically be held to ±0.01 mm, depending on the part geometry, size, and machining process.

Yes. We machine one-off prototypes, low-volume orders, and repeat production parts. The machining process and inspection plan are adjusted according to the required quantity.

Available finishes include as-machined, polishing, brushing, bead blasting, nickel plating, chrome plating, tin plating, and passivation. Finish availability depends on the brass grade and part requirements.

Yes. We produce internal and external threads for fittings, connectors, inserts, valves, and other custom brass parts. Metric, UNC, UNF, NPT, BSP, and custom thread specifications are available.

We use CMMs, micrometers, calipers, thread gauges, pin gauges, and optical measuring equipment. Inspection reports and material certificates can be provided when required.

Send your 2D drawings or 3D CAD files, brass grade, quantity, tolerance requirements, surface finish, and any inspection requirements. STEP, STP, IGES, X_T, DWG, DXF, and PDF files are accepted.
